Josie Lee was born in Berkshire. She studied art and classical history at Reading University and has been painting professionally for 5 years.
Her current painting style is influenced by today’s vogue for native art, and is rich and vibrant with a consistant humerous trend. Each painting has an underlying script, reflective in the figurative work added. Painting in acrylics, her work is often enhanced with various textures and glazes.

Josie’s work is frequently stamped with her appreciation of the mediterranean coutryside, and with her colourful and evocative tableaus, she is rapidly becoming a popular and sought after artist with all generations.
