Biography-Kim Rose
From a young age I had a real passion for painting.  Despite wanting to paint I landed a job in the fitness industry and stayed 15 years. I realised I wasn’t fulfilling my dream of becoming an artist.
I always had a very keen interest in painting and have experimented with various different mediums.
After attending an airbrush course in Feb 2020 I instantly fell in love. When the covid
Pandemic struck I found myself out of work.
Despite this despite this being a huge upset it gave me the focus, drive and determination.
I needed to follow my dream and with the support of my partner and family I was encouraged to paint.
Since moving to the Peak District I have enjoyed capturing the detail and realism of native wildlife. I paint close up with little background interruption.
